Jake is our wonderful little Hunt male. He stands at 9 inches tall. Jake is so devoted to Dan and would be perfectly content if he could spend all of his time wondering around all over our place with Dan hunting for whatever he could find. Jake's dad's pedigree is traced to Holland, and his mom is also of excellent pedigree and has great eye appeal as a red Hunt.
Jake came from Wendy Lindsay.
Texas Pepper of Loblolly Farms

Texas Pepper - Pepper - is a gorgeous, stocky Hunt Terrier female. She is 9 inches tall. Her dad is Tommy is a beautiful example of the breed. His pedigree is traced to Holland. Pepper's mom is Caylee. She is an outstanding Hunt female, and both are owned by Hobbit Hill.

The Hunt Terrier is a breed that can be considered both old and new; old because it can be traced back several centuries to the British Isles through books and paintings as a dog that was commonly seen around farms in England, Ireland, Germany, Holland as a working terrier, they also played a part as foundation stock in what has become known as the Jack Russell Terrier today, as well as a number of other breeds. By the 20th Century, these terriers were near extinction, until a small number of breeders (interestingly enough, most are also Jack Russell Terrier breeders ) in Ireland and England developed an interest and continued to breed them.
In recent years these little dogs have made their way to the USA from Europe. Although the bloodlines are limited in this country, they are gaining in popularity and becoming a very much sought after breed. We are proud owners of these smart little dogs and hope to offer puppies in the near future.

Phallon is from right here at Loblolly Farms. She is the daughter of Jake and Pepper. We have retained her to add to our program in the near future.
