English Jack Russells and Hunt Terriers
We are located deep in the Piney Woods of East Texas. This is where Dan was born. Generations of his family lived in this area. After retirement we came home. From my first sight of this land, I have been in love with its beauty and peaceful way of life.
We were introduced to the shortie Jack Russells through our daughter. She wanted to get a puppy for our grandchildren that would stay small and be a playmate for them. However, she did have to travel a good ways in order to get the puppy. It was amazing and heartwarming just to watch that dog play with and love those kids. Being animal lovers, Dan and I did our own research on these very special dogs. We made the decision to find the best males and females as breeders. We purchased puppies from Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida, Ohio, and West Texas.
The year 2011 has been a very difficult one. With the worst heat and drought conditions in almost 200 years, we have slowed down on our breeding, trying to do our best to just help our dogs through each day. At times we were even under threat of wildfires. Though the drought persists, the cooler weather is helping us all. We will be producing puppies on a somewhat limited basis. I have met some very nice people in the pursuit of brining together our exceptional shorties. I especially would like to thank my dear friend Karen Adams from Hobbit Hill Jack Russells for all the help she has given to me and continues to always be there even if I just have a question. Thanks so much Karen!

Congratulations to Bill and Nancy O'Neill and their Loblolly winners at the National Trial:
This is Tex and Cody and they are sired by our Mr.Snuffles and out of Patty Cake. They were 11 months old at the time of the National Trials in Gettysburg, PA. - October 28,29,30, 2011.
Their owners have truly given Tex and Cody a wonderful and loving home. They have dedicated themselves to making sure that the puppies have fun whether playing around or in training.
Tex and Cody took part and proved themselves in regional trials throughout the year before attending the JRTCA National Trials in Pennsylvania in late October.
Tex and Cody took part in the 9-12 months, up to 12 1/2 in. class.
